About Me

I grew up on Long Island in a blue-collar family that kept things simple: work hard, invest in what matters, and skip the drama. My parents weren’t financial wizards, but they knew where to put their money—education was everything. That investment opened doors I didn’t even know existed, and I’ve been trying not to trip walking through them ever since.

Twenty-plus years later, I’ve built a career leading teams and growing businesses across the design and manufacturing world. These days, I work with some of the biggest companies on the planet, helping them not just hit their numbers but build cultures people actually want to be part of. Along the way, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about the spreadsheets—it’s about how we communicate and connect.

That’s what inspired The Business Buffet, my book about the 15 career skills nobody teaches you but everyone expects you to know. Think professional development without the corporate theater (and with better food metaphors).

Whether I’ve been a VP, GM, or whatever title made sense at the time, I’ve always seen myself as someone who connects dots, tells stories, and helps people navigate work without losing their humanity in the process.

Outside the office, I chase shots with my camera, write songs that will never win a Grammy, and serve as board chair for Global Nomads—a nonprofit that keeps me grounded in what actually matters. Music and photography keep me curious, and occasionally make me look cooler than I really am.

I live with my amazing wife, our teenage son (already a better athlete, student, and human than I ever was), and our Labradoodle, who has never once respected a conference call when the mailman shows up. They’re my reset button and daily reminder to stay grateful, stay humble, and not take any of this too seriously.

At the end of the day, I’m just trying to do meaningful work with good people, tell a few decent stories along the way, and enjoy the ride—awkward dance moves included.
