Please! Don’t have all the answers…
Most leaders think their job is to have the answers. The best leaders know their real job is to ask the right questions.
Here’s one that changed how I lead:
👉 “How am I touching both the hearts and the minds of my team right now?”
Spreadsheets, deadlines, the next big pitch — that’s the “minds” part. But people also need to feel seen, valued, and inspired. That’s the “hearts” part.
The leaders we remember don’t just deliver results. They create connection.
This week, try this: after every important meeting, ask yourself if you moved both hearts and minds. If it’s just one or the other, the meal’s only half-cooked.
(PS — if you’re in a bunch of unimportant meetings, ask yourself why you’re there… but that’s a topic for another post 😉)
